Israeli Occupation Army Radio Admits: Defense Systems Failed to Detect and Intercept the Yemeni Drone that Struck Eilat.

Israeli occupation army radio reported that the air defense systems failed to detect the Yemeni drone targeting the city of Eilat during its flight path towards the target, as it was only detected at a late stage.

Occupied Palestine – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

According to the occupation army’s radio, the “Iron Dome” system attempted to intercept the drone twice but failed to shoot it down.

It also indicated that combat helicopters and fighter jets were scrambled to the area and attempted in turn to shoot down the drone, but they also failed to achieve this objective.

This announcement comes in the wake of the attack, which—according to prior media reports—resulted in more than 20 injuries, including critical cases. This confirms the success of the drone in penetrating the air defenses and causing human and material losses.
