Israeli occupation forces carried out air and artillery bombardment on several areas in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing and wounding several people, despite US President Donald Trump’s call for an immediate halt to the bombing and the response of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to his plan to stop the war.
Airstrikes targeted several neighborhoods in Gaza City and other areas in the Strip, including Khan Yunis in the south.
Medical sources reported that 19 Palestinians, 18 of them in Gaza City, were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes since dawn today.
At the same time, the Israeli army warned residents of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip not to return to their areas.
The Israeli army stated in a post on the X platform that the area north of the Gaza Valley remains a dangerous combat zone, and that remaining there poses a significant risk.
