Gaza Ministry of Health: Death toll rises

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip stated that hospitals in the Strip received the bodies of 124 martyrs (including 117 recovered from previous attacks) and 33 injuries over the past 24 hours.

The Ministry added in a statement on Sunday that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them at this time.

It explained that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 67,806 martyrs and 170,066 injuries since October 7, 2023.

The Civil Defense in Gaza announced on Sunday that it had recovered the bodies of 15 martyrs in the Netzarim axis in the central Gaza Strip. It also recovered four martyrs from the vicinity of Netzarim and transferred them to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat.

In an earlier statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the health and humanitarian conditions in the Strip require an emergency response to bring in necessary medical supplies.
