The occupation commits 80 violations, resulting in 97 martyrs and 230 injuries since the announcement of the ceasefire
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Sunday that the occupation forces continue to violate the decision to halt the war—the aggression—on the Gaza Strip, with 80 violations monitored since the announcement of the cessation of aggression until today.
Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The statement clarified that these violations have led to the martyrdom of 97 citizens and the injury of 230 others with varying wounds. This includes 21 new violations today alone, involving direct gunfire at citizens, artillery shelling, and airstrikes, in addition to the arrest of civilians in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
It added that the occupation army used military vehicles and tanks stationed on the outskirts of cities in its assaults, along with electronic cranes equipped with remote sensing and targeting systems, as well as warplanes and drones that continue to fly over residential areas and carry out daily shooting operations.
The Office pointed out that these violations were distributed across all governorates of the Gaza Strip, reflecting the continuation of the occupation’s aggressive approach and its clear desire for field escalation and its “permanent thirst for bloodshed and killing.”
The Government Media Office held the occupation fully responsible for these violations, calling on the UN and the guarantor parties of the agreement to intervene urgently to compel the occupation to stop its aggression and protect civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The Office also confirmed that the international community’s silence regarding these violations encourages the occupation to persist in its crimes against the Palestinian people, demanding a firm international stance to stop the violations and ensure the implementation of the agreement to halt the war.
