Sana’a warns Riyadh: “The equation of reciprocity” still stands

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Mohammed Muftah, the Acting Head of Government in Sana’a, issued a decisive warning on Monday against the continuation of the restrictive measures taken by the Saudi coalition against the Yemeni people, confirming that the “equation of reciprocal response” still stands and has not been nullified.

In an official statement, Muftah said the message is directed to “everyone who takes measures to restrict our people’s livelihood,” adding, “The equation of bank for bank, airport for airport, and port for port has not been canceled, and this game will not continue.”

He confirmed that the Yemeni people will not submit or yield to economic blackmail, stressing that “the enemy will not succeed in passing its conspiracies against Yemen” and that the people who have offered convoys of martyrs “will confront and thwart all conspiracies, God willing.”

This warning comes amidst escalating tension between the Sana’a authorities and the Saudi coalition, against the backdrop of mutual threats regarding economic and logistical measures that could affect commercial and financial activity in the country, amid Sana’a’s confirmation of its adherence to the right of response in the event of infringement on the rights of the Yemeni people.
