A secret railway linking “Israel” to the Gulf… Between trade and domination

Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Hebrew media outlets, including the channel “i24NEWS,” reported that the Israeli entity has begun building a railway linking its occupied territories to the UAE in a secret move during the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, with the work having reached advanced stages.

According to the channel, a high-level Israeli delegation from the Ministry of Transport, headed by Minister Miri Regev, visited Abu Dhabi over the weekend in an unannounced visit, with the aim of strengthening what Israel described as “regional economic cooperation,” in an attempt to transform the occupied Palestinian territories into a major commercial hub connecting the Gulf to the Mediterranean and Europe.

The project plans for the passage of goods through Saudi Arabia and Jordan to reach the port of Haifa, bypassing traditional procedures, allowing the entity to have complete control over regional trade routes, turning them into a tool for economic pressure on the countries of the region. The project also includes the laying of communication cables and power lines, adding a clear strategic dimension to Israeli expansion under an economic cover.

This project falls within the American “Peace Corridor” plan formulated in 2018, which later transformed into the “IMEC” (India-Middle East-Europe Corridor), connecting India, the Middle East, and Europe. It clearly shows the Israeli occupation’s endeavor to enhance its commercial and political influence at the expense of the interests of the Arab peoples.

This project also comes at a time when the Israeli entity continues its policies of occupation and aggression against the Palestinian people, making these economic projects tools for domination rather than for genuine cooperation among peoples.
