The death toll from the Zionist aggression on Gaza rises

The death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,439 martyrs and 171,324 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women, according to Palestinian health authorities on Wednesday.

The same source explained that 15 martyrs were transferred to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours, noting that many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.

The source indicated that since the ceasefire came into effect last October, 449 Palestinians have been martyred and 1,246 others wounded, while the bodies of 710 martyrs have been recovered.

For more than two years, the Israeli occupation has committed genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international appeals and the International Court of Justice’s orders to halt its actions.
