The Government Media Office stated earlier that since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, and continuing until Thursday morning, January 15, 2026 (a period of 95 days), the Israeli occupation has continued to commit serious and systematic violations of the agreement, constituting a blatant breach of international humanitarian law and a deliberate undermining of the ceasefire and its accompanying humanitarian protocol. The office confirmed in a statement on Thursday that the relevant government agencies had documented 1,244 violations of the agreement, detailed as follows:
402 direct shooting incidents targeting civilians.
66 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas.
581 bombings and attacks targeting unarmed civilians and their homes.
195 bombings and destruction of homes, institutions, and civilian buildings.
The statement indicated that these systematic violations resulted in the deaths of 449 civilians who were admitted to hospitals, and injuries to 1,246 others, in addition to 50 cases of unlawful arrest carried out by the Israeli occupation forces.
