NGOs: The occupation is practicing “international deception” regarding trucks entering Gaza

The head of the NGO Network in the Gaza Strip, Amjad al-Shawa, revealed on Sunday that the Israeli occupation authorities continue their systematic policy of misinformation regarding the number of aid trucks entering the Strip, asserting that the reality on the ground contradicts the occupation’s claims.
In a press statement, al-Shawa explained that the humanitarian aid actually arriving is “very meager” and does not meet the minimum needs of the population. He emphasized that the occupation is attempting to improve its image before the international community by disseminating fabricated figures, while in practice it continues to tighten the siege and use “starvation as a weapon” as a tool of political and military pressure.
Reports from the Government Media Office in Gaza confirm that the number of trucks entering daily does not exceed 10% of the actual needs (500 trucks used to enter before the war), while the occupation promotes the entry of hundreds of trucks through commercial crossings, from which no real aid reaches the population.
