Gaza Health Ministry: Israeli genocide toll rises

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli offensive since October 2023 has risen to 72,073, with 171,756 wounded.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry stated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received seven new injuries in the past 24 hours, without specifying the circumstances or conditions of the new casualties.

Despite the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, Israel has committed hundreds of violations through shelling and gunfire, resulting in casualties.

The ministry reported that the total number of victims of Israeli violations of the agreement since October 11 has reached approximately 615 martyrs and 1,658 wounded.

These daily violations continue despite the United States’ announcement in mid-January of the start of the second phase of the agreement, and amidst Palestinian demands to compel Israel to adhere to the ceasefire and pressure it to fulfill its obligations under the agreement, including the entry of the agreed-upon quantities of food, relief supplies, medical aid, and shelter materials such as tents and mobile homes.
