America admits to a heavy toll of aircraft downed by Iran and adds a soldier to the list of killed

The US revealed more of its losses in the confrontations with Iran on Monday.

The US Department of Defense confirmed the loss of nearly 11 fighter aircraft of the type “MQ-9.” American media networks, most notably “CNN” and “CBS,” quoted defense sources confirming the downing of a new aircraft today, raising the toll over a week to 11 aircraft.

The announced aircraft are part of approximately 82 drones—Israeli and American—that Iranian forces confirmed shooting down across Iranian cities in recent days of confrontations. These aircraft are added to a long list of losses incurred by America within days.

The US Central Command earlier today announced that the death toll of American soldiers in the first Iranian attack had risen to 7, after having buried a number of them earlier this week.

The Trump administration admitted to significant losses. The “New York Times” quoted sources as saying the heavy losses were due to a miscalculation by the Trump administration, indicating that Iran was more prepared for war than American expectations.
