Iranian forces announce a new phase of operations and identify new targets

The Iranian forces announced on Wednesday the start of a new phase of operations against American and Israeli interests in the region. This coincides with the confrontations surpassing a 12-day war.

The Iranian forces stated in a statement by its spokesman that the next stage will go beyond the hypothesis of reciprocity and that operations in it will be continuous and without limits.

The spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard had confirmed the start of targeting the American and Israeli banking sector in the region, following an attack that targeted an Iranian bank. Iran had effectively begun implementing the new strategy with an operation that lasted for hours at dawn today.

The new strategy indicates that Iran will adopt an open target list in its operations while intensifying missile and drone strikes.

The motives behind the current open-ended Iranian strategy are not yet clear, but its timing suggests it is a signal of Iran’s ability to continue the war relentlessly, having this time surpassed the period formerly known as the 12-day war.
