Deployment of air defenses around homes of US officials in Washington for the first time in history

American media quoted the War Department, “The Pentagon,” as talking the commencement of installing advanced defense systems around the homes of Trump administration officials in the capital, Washington.

The sources explained that the operation includes deploying laser-powered defense systems to counter attacks by explosive-laden drones.

The system was installed in the “Fort McNair” area, where the US Secretaries of Defense and State reside.

This is the first time in decades that US forces have installed defense systems in the American capital.

Its timing indicates escalating American fears of the battle being transferred to its territory; it comes hours after the US President’s speech extending the war on Iran for additional weeks amid the failure to subdue Iran.
