An American website reveals the truth: 750 American soldiers killed and wounded in the Middle East
A report published by The Intercept revealed that approximately 750 American soldiers have been killed or wounded in the Middle East since October 2023, amid accusations against the US Department of Defense (The Pentagon) of downplaying the scale of losses and failing to provide accurate and updated data.

The report explained that the US Central Command (CENTCOM), responsible for military operations in the region, has provided low and outdated numbers and refrained from clarifying details of deaths and injuries in what a defense official described as a “cover-up of losses.”
According to the report, at least 15 American soldiers were injured in an Iranian attack targeting an air base in Saudi Arabia on Friday, while estimates indicate hundreds of dead and wounded since the outbreak of military confrontation between the US and Iran over a month ago.
CENTCOM had announced in a previous statement that approximately 303 US service members had been injured since the start of operations, but these numbers were described as outdated and not including recent attacks, including the attack on the Prince Sultan Air Base.
The Intercept’s analysis indicated that at least 15 American soldiers have been killed in the region since the beginning of the war, in the absence of any updated official count from CENTCOM regarding the number of deaths.
In context, US President Donald Trump said that human losses are “unavoidable” in such wars, affirming his determination to continue operations, despite his talk about the possibility of ending the war with Iran within two weeks.
A defense official accused the US administration of seeking to keep the scale of losses concealed, pointing out that current data lacks transparency compared to what was published during the administration of former President Joe Biden.
The report also noted that official numbers don’t include more than 200 sailors injured in a fire aboard the USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier, which reinforces estimates of a higher number of wounded.
In contrast, Iran continues to target American bases in several countries in the region, including Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, using missiles and drones, while CENTCOM has refrained from providing comprehensive data on the scale of these attacks.
Military analysts believe that the weak fortification of American bases and the deployment of forces in temporary civilian locations, such as hotels and office buildings, may increase risks to forces and complicate military operations.
The report concludes that the lack of transparency regarding human losses raises increasing questions within the US about the cost of the war and its repercussions on American national security and the economy.
