Iran announces the failure of an American attempt to steal uranium by air

Iran announced, on Monday, the failure of an American attempt to steal highly enriched uranium, coming in the aftermath of the fiercest confrontations witnessed on Iranian territory, during which American airborne forces sustained significant losses.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghaei, confirmed his country’s suspicion that the American operation carried out on Saturday under the pretext of rescuing a missing pilot was a “deceptive operation” aimed at stealing enriched uranium in Isfahan province, affirming that the operation took place far from the crash site of the American fighter jet.

Isfahan, Iran’s most prominent nuclear region, witnessed at the beginning of the week the fiercest Iranian-American confrontations ever.

During the operation, several American aircraft were destroyed, including “Black Hawks” and two “C-135” military transport aircraft, the most advanced type.

The Iranian disclosure came as the Revolutionary Guard released new images of the American aircraft destroyed in the operation. One of the images shows a skull in the cabin of one of the troop transport aircraft that the American forces said had malfunctioned and was destroyed by the US Army, which indicates that the Iranian forces were the ones that targeted those aircraft.
