Sirens sounded 41 times in 35 cities, towns, and settlements in northern Israel on Tuesday evening, April 7, 2026, following the launch of missiles from Lebanese territory in a widespread field escalation on the northern front.

Based on information from the Israeli Home Front Command and Hebrew media, the sirens were heard in several areas, including Metula, Kfar Yuval, Kiryat Shmona, Tel Hai, Shlomi, Nahariya, Rosh Hanikra, Safed, Acre, and Tamra, as well as other border towns and settlements.
In the same context, the Israeli Army Radio reported that approximately 60 missiles were detected launched from Lebanon towards northern Israel since the morning hours.
Meanwhile, the official Broadcasting Corporation stated that four impact sites were detected within the city of Nahariya, resulting in the injury of two Israelis and widespread damage to buildings and cars.
Video clips also showed columns of smoke rising in the city’s sky.
For its part, Israeli Channel 12 stated that one of the missiles hit a building in Kiryat Shmona, without revealing further details regarding the extent of damage or injuries.
In response, Hezbollah announced in a series of statements from Tuesday dawn until evening the execution of 70 attacks targeting Israeli settlements, forces, vehicles, and military sites, affirming that these operations come within the framework of “defending Lebanon and its people” amid the continuation of Israeli attacks.
