Health Ministry: Two Palestinians killed and eight injured in Gaza in the past 24 hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that two martyrs and eight wounded individuals arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. The ministry clarified that among the martyrs was one newly killed person and another whose body was recovered from under the rubble.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry in Gaza indicated that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them. This suggests the actual death toll is likely to rise as search and rescue operations continue.

According to official figures, the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 10 has risen to 750, in addition to 2,090 wounded, while the number of bodies recovered has reached 760.

As for the cumulative toll since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023, the number of martyrs has reached 72,329, while the number of wounded has reached 172,192, indicating the escalating human cost and the ongoing repercussions of the attack on the Gaza Strip.
