An American report reveals the extent of losses suffered by US bases due to Iranian attacks

The American newspaper “The Washington Post” revealed on Wednesday that analysis of satellite imagery showed that Iranian strikes targeted American military assets “far more” than what was officially reported.

The newspaper confirmed that the Iranian attacks destroyed or damaged “at least 228 facilities or pieces of equipment” at American military bases in the Middle East.

The Trump administration had been trying to downplay the scale of losses and promote that its defense systems had successfully repelled the attacks.

Reports indicate that the scale of destruction is “far greater” and shows that the Iranian strategy succeeded in inflicting systematic damage on vital assets of the US military, including aircraft hangars, ammunition depots, radar systems, and runways.
