Iranian Ministry of Defense: Ending the war is conditional on Washington and Tel Aviv recognizing the rights of our people

The spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Reza Talaei, said on Thursday that the path to ending any war goes through the recognition by the US and the Israeli entity of the rights of the Iranian people, affirming that this is the primary condition for easing tensions.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Talaei explained in statements made during a memorial ceremony for a commander in Tehran that “the American and Zionist enemy” must abandon its current policies and recognize the rights of Iranians, considering that the continuation of the current approach will keep Washington “incapable of getting out of the quagmire it entered,” as he put it.

He added that the “martyr” being memorialized represents a model for leaders who contributed to enhancing Iranian defense capabilities.

He pointed out that he played important roles in organizational and security fields, especially through supporting the popular mobilization forces (Basij) and enhancing its internal readiness.

The Defense Ministry spokesman also addressed the role of popular forces in the Iranian defense system.

He affirmed that “Iran’s defensive strength is fundamentally based on the people” and that popular mobilization represents a central axis in enhancing national security and confronting external threats.

He concluded by indicating that the Iranian experience in recent years has proven—according to him—the importance of integrating popular capabilities with military and security institutions within an integrated defense system.
