The British newspaper “The Independent” stated, citing sources, that “NATO” intelligence believes Iran retains most of its missile capabilities underground.
The newspaper reported: “Intelligence agencies have warned that Iran still has access to most of its missiles and underground facilities.”
According to the newspaper’s sources, “NATO” intelligence believes Iran has retained at least 60% of its missile capabilities.
In addition, according to these sources, US intelligence believes that 90% of Iranian military launch sites and warehouses are now “partially or fully operational.”
“The Independent” indicated that Iran is capable of continuing the conflict with the US for several more months.
The US and Israel had begun launching strikes on targets inside Iranian territory on February 28. On April 8, Washington and Tehran announced a ceasefire, but the US began a blockade of Iranian ports, while Iran announced the imposition of special rules for transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
