The Revolutionary Guard stated in a statement that ballistic missiles targeted Al-Azraq base in Jordan, claiming to have destroyed twenty warehouses where American forces are stationed, killing dozens of soldiers, in addition to destroying C-17 military transport aircraft and targeting and damaging P-8 command and control aircraft at Aqaba Airport.

The statement affirmed that American forces in the region are “legitimate targets” due to their support for “Israel” and their participation in attacks on Islamic countries, according to its expression.

On the naval front, the Revolutionary Guard announced the explosion of two oil tankers that it said attempted, “at the instigation and coercion of the US army,” to cross through an unsafe southern route in the Strait of Hormuz, causing them to stop.

Tehran renewed its threat to prevent the passage of oil, gas, and fertilizers through the Strait of Hormuz as long as American attacks continue, warning of an “imminent punitive operation” against American forces, and considering their military presence in the region “illegal.”

In the same context, the Revolutionary Guard announced the downing of an American MQ-9 drone over the city of Islamabad in the west of Kermanshah province, indicating that the number of American drones downed by Iranian defenses in recent hours has risen to six, according to the statement.
