America Tempts Saudi Arabia with the Phantom and Israel to Slide into the Yemen Quagmire as China Enters Peacefully, with Eyes on Full Normalization
The US resumed, on Saturday, galvanizing Saudi Arabia in an attempt to drag it into the quagmire of war on Yemen, while awaiting the results of negotiations to complete normalization. This coincides with fears of a Chinese role that may work towards de-escalation in the region.

The US State Department announced earlier on Friday the conclusion of the largest arms deal for Saudi Arabia. The deal’s cost is $25 billion, the largest ever, and includes, according to the Secretary of State’s statement, stealth fighter jets of the F-35 type and their components.
The American Secretary of State didn’t clarify the rest of the details.
The announcement of the deal—which Israel had opposed—coincided with the confirmation of the US ambassador in Tel Aviv, Mike Huckabee, that the occupation is providing important intelligence information to Saudi Arabia in its war on Yemen. Meanwhile, the American website “Al-Monitor” quoted sources as saying that Netanyahu, the head of the occupation government, is personally involved in completing normalization procedures with Saudi Arabia.
The sources stated that Netanyahu is trying to present himself as a reliable ally to the Saudis.
The American step came at a time when Saudi Arabia is suffering with Yemen downing its latest American-made F-15 fighter jets.
The timing of the step was interpreted as an American attempt to drag Saudi Arabia further into the quagmire of escalation in Yemen, especially as it came on the eve of reports about Riyadh asking Beijing to play a role with Iran for de-escalation in Yemen.
Although America announced from the first moment its unwillingness to engage in the escalation in Yemen and opened diplomatic communication channels to arrange its position in the post-Sana’a control of Yemen’s western coast phase, its decision to move towards the F-35 deal and not objecting to the occupation indicates that it has made progress in the normalization negotiations personally led by Trump between Netanyahu and bin Salman, in addition to attempting to block the path of any Chinese role in de-escalation in the region.
