Saudi Coalition Forces Implicitly Acknowledge the Loss of Wide Areas in Taiz
Taiz — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
A warning issued by forces affiliated with the Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council today, Friday, to the military personnel enrolled within the Saudi coalition forces, urging them to avoid passing through 19 roads inside the governorate, revealed an implicit acknowledgment of the fall of wide areas into the hands of the Sana’a forces, including Sami’ District, eastern Al-Shamaytin, and parts of Jabal Habashi.
According to military expert Ali Al-Nasi, the roads that Al-Alimi’s forces warned against, on the pretext that the Sana’a forces use them for supply and military movement, reveal the map of the field advance; the roads from 5 to 11 represent 90% of the roads of Sami’ District, and the roads 14, 15, and 17 are the entirety of the roads that link western Al-Shamaytin to the rest of Taiz’s areas, while road number 6 is the line linking Jabal Habashi and the areas located to its north.
This means, according to Al-Nasi, that Sami’ District and eastern Al-Shamaytin District, specifically the isolated areas of Bani Omar and Al-Mashawilah, in addition to new areas north of Jabal Habashi, have come under the control of the Sana’a forces, in an accelerating field advance for weeks.
