Navigational Data Show Disruption in Air Traffic at Dammam Airport
The data of the “Flightradar” website specialized in monitoring global aviation movement showed on Saturday a disruption in air navigation movement at King Fahd International Airport in the city of Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia.
Exclusive Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The data show the presence of about seven aircraft stuck in the skies of Dammam, following a sudden halt of air navigation movement, which caused operational confusion in the vicinity of the eastern skies of the Kingdom.
No official comment was issued explaining the reasons until the time of publishing the news, amid expectations that a Yemeni attack is behind the disruption.
The Sana’a forces had repeatedly targeted Dammam Airport during the past days and weeks, within their operations in imposing an air siege on navigation in Saudi airspace, with the exception of the airspace of the holy areas in Mecca and Medina.
