Al-Murtada Announces the Arrival of Large Numbers of Captives of the Saudi-Backed Forces from the Al-Maqatirah Front
The head of the Prisoners’ Committee in Sana’a, Abdulqader Al-Murtada, announced the arrival of large numbers of the captives who were arrested during the recent military operations on the Al-Maqatirah front in Lahj Governorate.
Sana’a — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Al-Murtada expressed, in a press statement, his deep regret that those did not take advantage of the “presidential amnesty decision” issued by the leadership in Sana’a, “and their being drawn behind the Saudi promises and promotions that pushed them to insist on the field confrontation, only to find themselves in the end in the grip of the Armed Forces.”
The head of the Prisoners’ Committee affirmed that “it would have been more appropriate for those elements to take the initiative to lay down arms and surrender themselves voluntarily to benefit from the amnesty decision, in a way that guarantees their safe and secure return to their areas and among their families,” warning “the rest of the misled against continuing to engage within the mobilizations and military activities of the Saudi aggression.”
