If this looting was done because the armies of the greedy in the countries of the poor, this was called traditional colonialism. And if the rulers of the poor plundered them for the benefit of the rich with their local armies, this was called neo-colonialism.

Historians and politicians have agreed that the invader in the traditional and new colonialism had two spoils: raw materials and cheap labor, but they forgot a third thing they needed in the old and new colonialism, which is security.

Security is necessity for the invader lies in the exploitation of the wealth and the efforts of the people, as well as ensuring the sustainability of the looting after his withdrawal.

This preserves the military strategic advantage that it obtains after owning the isolated country or from its political control over it after withdrawing without its competitors from the major powers.

Security is one of the most vital raw materials provided by the colonies to be inherited to the Third World countries, in order to spin the wheel of exploitation called the global economy.

The invader cannot transform his military forces into security forces that guarantee him the administration of the invaded country, because the cost of transforming a foreign army into a police force, especially in densely populated areas, is unaffordable (more money, more blood), because the relative societal acceptance is what allows the security forces to operate.

Usually armies are set up to confront army like them, but peoples do not rule except with their consent, condoning or neglecting their rulers.
