Aden: Explosion in Fish Market Killed Five Citizens, Injured 35
Five citizens were killed and more than 35 others were injured, including children, in an initial toll, as a result of a violent explosion that hit a fish market in the center of the port city of Aden, medical sources said on Thursday.
According to the sources, unidentified gunmen planted an explosive bomb in the garbage barrel of the fish market in Sheikh Othman district of Aden, which is controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia.
It has not yet been revealed who is behind this terrorist act.
The city of Aden has witnessed security chaos and terrorist acts since the return of the Riyadh-backed Presidential Council, amid accusations of conspiracy against the southern provinces and looting wealth and distributing it to the old corruption lobby and the so-called “7/7 gang”.
