Sana’a Defense: We Have Full Capacity to Deal with Any Act of ‘Aggression’ and Deter It
The Minister of Defense of Sana’a, Major General Muhammad Nasser Al-Atifi, confirmed that the coalition seeks to prolong the war on Yemen “to ensure their continued plundering to the national wealth, and the use of Yemeni ports and islands under occupation, to serve their economic interests and political ends.”
Major General Al-Atifi considered that the coalition’s preparations are currently at all military levels. He confirms that their resort to the truce previously “was to rearrange their situation in order to prepare to continue their blatant ‘aggression’ against Yemen.”
Maj. Gen. al-Atifi affirmed that the Yemeni armed forces, with their various formations, are fully prepared to continue the battle of heroism, pride and dignity against the Saudi coalition in a more painful and powerful way compared to previous years. Pointing that the forces have full capacity to deal with any act of ‘aggression’ and deter it in its stronghold.”
The Minister of Defense affirmed Sana’a’s commitment to the last agreed armistice and its keenness to reduce the level of tension and non-escalation, despite the violations and the bringing of the aggressors, occupiers and their agents to more weapons to the occupied provinces, regions and islands.
He added, “Sana’a proposes a truce that meets the interests of the Yemeni people, present and in the future, while the aggressors want a truce against the Yemeni people and their right to a decent life.”
