Hadramout: Protesters Reject Hold Saudi Arabia Responsible for Security Chaos
The people of Hadramout province on Wednesday organized a protest vigil, denouncing the security chaos in the province.
The protesters denounced the attempt to plunge the districts of Hadramout valley into chaos and to set up militia camps outside the state’s authority.
In the vigil organized by the “Free Youth of Hadramout”, the participants raised banners denouncing the recruitment of militia from outside the province, refusing that the province be an arena for regional conflict.
They considered that maintaining security in the districts of Hadramout is the responsibility of its people, calling for stopping the creation of camps for the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia, funded by the UAE in the province.
This comes after the UAE brought in the so-called “Al-Amaliqa” militia, formed from the people of Dhalea and Lahj province, through Shabwa to Hadramout, and stationed in Jathma camp, which controls the oil companies in the Hadramout valley.
