Renewed Saudi bombing of Yemeni border areas causes more casualties

On Saturday, Saudi forces continued to target the Sa’ada border areas, resulting in more casualties among Yemeni and African civilians.

Sa’ada – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

According to local sources, new shelling in the border region of Shada resulted in the death of a civilian, and the same forces also shelled several locations in the Razih district with artillery.

Two African migrants were injured by Saudi gunfire in the Al-Thabit area of the Qataber border district, according to other local sources.

The “Human Rights Organization” disclosed shocking Saudi atrocities on the Yemeni border during August that were committed by Saudi forces away from the world’s attention and targeted hundreds of women and children.

The organization confirmed in its report that “Saudi Border Guard forces killed hundreds of Ethiopian migrants and asylum seekers who attempted to cross the Yemeni-Saudi border between March 2022 and June 2023.”

The international organization demanded that the Saudi regime end any use of lethal force “against migrants and asylum seekers” and urged concerned nations to push for accountability, with the UN conducting an investigation. It stated that Saudi officials “are killing hundreds of women and children away from the world’s attention while spending billions on sports events to improve their image.”

Some of those interviewed by the organization who survived the atrocities stated that “Saudi border guards were coming down from their positions to attack the survivors. A 17-year-old boy said that the border guards forced him and other survivors to rape two girls after executing another migrant who refused to rape another survivor.
