Sana’a government reveals “suspicious” request from WFP
The WFP has decided to scale back its help in Yemen and has asked the official Sana’a authorities to sign the decision, according to sources in Sana’a.

As reported by Al-Masirah channel, the sources confirmed that the program’s insistence on getting the official authorities’ signature was rejected due to its suspicious agenda, which included deceiving the beneficiaries about who was behind the reduction in aid.
It considered the reduction of the program’s assistance part of American pressure to restrict the Yemeni people and exacerbate their living suffering,” confirming that the reduction would deprive nearly half a million families, mostly women and children suffering from malnutrition.
