A new American landing on the western coast of Yemen

On Yemen’s western coasts, US forces carried out a new military deployment today.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The US forces have expanded their deployment along the Yemeni coasts in the Red Sea and the Bab Al-Mandeb, according to a spokesman for the Southern Giants factions stationed on the western coast.

In a press statement, Wadhah Al-Dubysh confirmed the US forces’ presence in those areas since the start of the Saudi-led war against Yemen in March 2015, noting that their deployment has recently increased along those coasts.

He also attempted to justify allowing these forces to deploy by mentioning an agreement with the government side, referring to the government of Ma’een, and stating that, despite the coordination, the Americans still have the final decision.

Unknown reasons may have motivated these factions to acknowledge the American presence in the Bab Al-Mandeb, and it is not known if these reasons include disagreements or reflect concerns about the repercussions of the American presence in the Bab Al-Mandeb on the future of these factions loyal to the UAE. However, the timing of the announcement serves as a preemptive measure against any disclosures regarding American involvement in the areas where the UAE-backed factions, led by Tariq Saleh, are stationed.

It is worth mentioning that the US Fifth Fleet, stationed in Bahrain, recently announced the reinforcement of the American presence in the Red Sea by deploying approximately 3,000 additional soldiers.
