The negotiating delegation reveals the files based on which the negotiations will be completed in Riyadh
According to Mohammed Abdulsalam, the head of the Sana’a delegation for political consultations, the current round of negotiations—during which the delegation traveled to Riyadh with the Omani delegation—comes within the context of earlier discussions with the Saudis, particularly the humanitarian file, which is represented by disbursing the payment of salaries to all employees, the reopening of the airport and ports, and the release of all prisoners and detainees.
Sana’a / Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Abdulsalam clarified that the files being worked on include the departure of foreign forces, the reconstruction of Yemen, and reaching a comprehensive political solution.
In negotiations with the Saudi side, the aggressor nations, and the international community, he highlighted that the national delegation’s discussions on the humanitarian matter are a fundamental task. He emphasized that this round of negotiations follows the same path we are on with the appreciated support of our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman.
We affirm that we are working to obtain the just rights of our people and find solutions that end a situation that does not represent any stability and does not attend to the humanitarian needs of our people, Abdulsalam continued.
The Sana’a delegation, accompanied by the Omani delegation, left for Saudi Arabia on Thursday evening as part of negotiations that observers consider crucial, as either Saudi Arabia agrees to Sana’a’s demands or the war resumes.
