Saudi Arabia reveals military rebellion in the Yemen war

Coinciding with preparations for a round of negotiations with the “Houthis” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia revealed on Thursday a military rebellion in its war on Yemen.

Exclusive / Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Saudi authorities executed a high-ranking military officer and war pilot, as the head of oversight in defense, Youssef Al-Azzoni, and the pilot, Brigadier Majed Al-Balawi, were found guilty of high treason offenses and failing to protect the honor of military service, according to the official Saudi news agency “SPA”.

According to American reports, the execution of the officers is part of a scenario being carried out by Saudi Arabia within its forces, targeting numerous officers and military officials in the aftermath of its defeat in the war on Yemen and highlighting prominent leaders, most notably Turki bin Faisal, who was dismissed from his position as the commander of the Joint Forces of the coalition in Yemen and stripped of his military ranks; his fate is still unknown.

According to experts, the executions coincide with Riyadh’s preparations for a new round of negotiations with the “Houthis” mediated by Oman and reflect a spirit of vengeance.
