Sana’a: The Yemeni political decision turned the maritime theater from a point of weakness to a strength
Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, the head of the caretaker government in Sana’a, said on Sunday that “the formulation of the Yemeni political decision has turned the Yemeni maritime theater from a point of weakness into a strength that supports Palestine.”
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The lifting of the blockade on ships bound for the Israeli entity is contingent upon the lifting of the blockade on Gaza and the arrival of food and medical supplies, as Bin Habtoor stressed in press statements. He also added that the imposition of a maritime blockade on the Israeli enemy is a decision stemming from a purely Yemeni will.
Spokesman for the Sana’a Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Saturday evening an escalation of measures against the Zionist entity in solidarity with Gaza, affirming their prohibition the passage of ships heading to the Zionist entity of any nationality unless it brings the needed food and medicine to the Gaza Strip.
In a military statement, Brigadier General Saree warned “all ships and companies against dealing with Israeli ports,” while at the same time declaring that any ship heading towards the enemy entity will be a legitimate target.
He emphasized that the Yemeni armed forces will “implement the decision to prohibit the passage of all ships to the enemy entity from the moment of this statement,” clarifying that “the decision to prohibit the entry of foreign ships into the entity comes after our success in preventing Israeli ships from navigating in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.”
The spokesman for the Sana’a Forces reiterated its commitment to “continuing trade movements for all countries and ships, except those associated with Israel or those transporting goods to Israeli ports.”
