In a notable development, Iraqi resistance targets the “Karish Gas Platform” in the Mediterranean Sea
In response to the crimes of the occupying entity, yesterday, the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” announced that it carried out a military operation against one of the vital targets in the Mediterranean Sea, using appropriate weapons, and achieved a direct hit.

The Iraqi Resistance stated in a statement that, “In continuation of our approach in resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, a vital target in the Mediterranean Sea was targeted using appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit.”
Al-Jazeera media sources quoted Iraqi Resistance sources today, stating that “the vital target that was targeted in the Mediterranean Sea is the Karish Gas Field platform.”
The military spokesman for the Israeli occupation army, Daniel Hagari, claimed in a statement from Tel Aviv that a drone was destroyed this week that was targeting Israel via the sea.
Israel controls the Karish oil and natural gas field, which is disputed with Lebanon. The field was discovered in July 2013, and its confirmed gas reserves are estimated at around 1.3 trillion cubic feet.
