Yemen approves a law to confront hostile countries

Yemen approved on Wednesday a draft law against countries hostile to Yemen, coinciding with the enactment of an American law classifying the Ansar Allah movement as a terrorist organization.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Yemeni House of Representatives voted in an extraordinary session today on a special law categorizing countries, entities, and groups hostile to Yemen.

The new law aims to confront hostile acts against Yemeni cities.

The adoption of the law comes amid escalating American-British aggression against Yemen and arrangements to prompt the European Union and other countries to deploy forces in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

It also comes a day before the implementation of an American decision to classify Ansar Allah on the list of terrorism, amid expectations of a greater escalation during the next stage.

The law, presented by Minister Ali Abu Haliqa from the Conference Party in the Salvation Government, authorizes Yemeni forces to confront any attacks or hostile activities against Yemen.
