Details of naval clashes involving three Western countries

The Red Sea witnessed intense confrontations in the past hours, involving European countries this time, and failed to break the Yemeni blockade on Israel.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Navigational sources in the Red Sea revealed that the clashes took place between Yemeni forces and German, American, and British battleships and indicated the participation of ground forces in the confrontations.

The sources reported that the clashes erupted as a result of an attempt by the American-British coalition, supported by European battleships, to escort a naval convoy for Israeli occupation, but ended with those ships changing their destination.

The US Central Command confirmed in a statement that its battleships had come under a new attack, claiming to have shot down five drones, while Germany reported that one of its frigates had been subjected to a similar attack in the Red Sea, claiming, according to the German agency, the shooting down of two drones.

The clashes coincided with US-British aircraft carrying out airstrikes on the island of “Baboon” in the Red Sea for the first time since the start of the American-British aggression against Yemen last January, which confirms reports that spoke of the participation of ground forces in the confrontations with the American battleships.

These developments indicate the expansion of Yemeni forces’ offensive in quantity and quality, especially as these recent operations come just a few days after the leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, vowed to expand Yemeni operations in solidarity with Gaza.
