The largest maneuver of the coalition to protect Israel, with Arab participation, simulates confronting air attacks

The US, along with Britain and 32 other countries, including Arab nations, commenced on Monday the largest military exercise in the Middle East. This coincides with the anticipation of the reaction from Islamic resistance countries in the region following the Israeli occupation’s arrangements to expand its attack on Rafah.

The US Central Command stated in a statement that the exercises, taking place in Jordan, bear the slogan “Eager Lion.”

Among the operations to be conducted, according to the US statement, are exercises simulates confronting air attacks.

The statement did not name the participating countries; American reports indicated the participation of the Israeli occupation, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and other countries with close ties to Israel, led by the US.

Although the new exercises, described as the largest by the US Command, are part of the scenario of integrating Israel into new alliances in the region, starting in the UAE, where similar maneuvers were conducted weeks ago, the timing of the latest exercises indicates an anticipation of wide-scale attacks by resistance factions in the Arab region as a response to Israel’s aggression on Rafah, which is expected to expand in the coming hours.

Jordan is one of several Arab countries that have committed themselves to serving as an advanced defense line to prevent Israeli targeting from Yemen and Iraq. Jordan has acknowledged intercepting several aircraft and ballistic missiles using Western systems.
