Al-Mashat on the unity anniversary: We affirm our sincere desire to make peace and good neighborliness with our surroundings


Mehdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, stated that unjust practices and grave mistakes have been previously committed “against our people both in the south and north of the country, but it is a mistake to attribute the faults of the previous regime to unity.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In a speech commemorating the 34th anniversary of Yemeni unity, Al-Mashat emphasized that “our Yemeni unity identity should not be erased by our political differences, no matter how great they may be,” stressing that “we must not allow destructive ideas and narrow projects to put us and our country in the wind.”

Furthermore, the head of the Supreme Political Council added, “The whole world realizes that the interest of Yemen, the interests of the regional and international surroundings, and the preservation of international peace and security lie in a united Yemen,” confirming Sana’a’s sincere desire to “make peace and good neighborliness and restore harmony with our surroundings and with the parties inside.”
