Abdul-Salam meets the Russian president’s envoy and emphasizes the necessity of stopping the aggression on Gaza and supporting the resistance


Mohammed Abdul-Salam, the head of the Sana’a delegation in the political negotiations, stated today, Tuesday, that he met with the special envoy of the Russian president to the Middle East and Africa to discuss developments in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Abdul-Salam affirmed in a post on the (X) platform the necessity of working towards stopping the aggression on Palestine and halting the US-British aggression on Yemen.

He pointed out that the Red Sea operations were discussed and that they do not pose a threat to international navigation or target anyone, but rather they are operations in support of the Palestinian people and in response to the American-British airstrikes on Yemen.

Abdul-Salam emphasized the importance of the understanding role of Russia towards Yemen’s supportive stance on Palestine, and he expressed gratitude for the Russian position rejecting American-British aggression against it and supporting the humanitarian and political process in our country.

He added that they “reviewed the implications of the de-escalation situation between Yemen and the aggression countries and the necessity of reaching a comprehensive solution that guarantees Yemen’s unity and sovereignty.”

He concluded his speech by conveying greetings from the leadership to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
