The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported on Wednesday that a new ship has been targeted near the Yemeni coast.
Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The British organization stated that it “received a report of an incident involving a Liberian-flagged vessel off the coast of Yemen” and previously reported explosions that occurred approximately 40 miles away from Mokha on the western coast of Yemen.
Yesterday evening, Yemeni forces announced the execution of military operations targeting three ships in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden as part of their response to the aggression against the Yemeni and Palestinian people.
The statement clarified that the first operation targeted the American vessel “Maersk Sentosa” in the Arabian Sea using ballistic and winged missiles, noting that the strike was direct and accurate. The second ship, “Marthopolis,” was attacked by drones in the Arabian Sea, while the third operation targeted the Israeli vessel “MSC Patnaree” in the Gulf of Aden using drones.
The Yemeni forces affirmed that these operations are a response to the US-British aggression and the continued Israeli military support against the Palestinian people, stressing that they will continue to target any ships that continue to deal, or the companies that own them, with the Israeli occupation entity.
