Yemen commemorates 300 days of resistance with a seventh American drone and a new ship
The Yemeni forces announced on Sunday the execution of new naval and aerial operations.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed in a new press release that the air defense system successfully shot down an American-made MQ-9 drone, explaining that the downing operation took place in Sa’ada province, the prominent stronghold of Ansar Allah leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile.
This drone marks the seventh of its kind to be shot down since the start of Yemeni operations against Israeli occupation in November as part of the “Promised Victory and Holy Jihad” battle.
Brigadier Saree also reported targeting a ship named “Groton” in the Gulf of Aden.
Brigadier General Saree clarified that the ship was targeted due to its owner company’s violation of the ban on entering Israeli occupation ports, stressing that the attack, which was carried out with ballistic missiles, achieved an accurate hit.
Brigadier Saree concluded his statement by saluting the steadfastness of Palestinian resistance on its 300th day of resistance and reiterating Yemen’s commitment to carrying out operations against the Israeli occupation at various stages until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
