1,000wounded and sick people killed in Gaza

More than a thousand wounded and sick, including more than 400 children, were killed during the last hundred days, due to the Israeli occupation forces’ prevention of their travel abroad for treatment, among 25,000 patients and wounded waiting for a political decision to reopen the Rafah land crossing.
Among the martyrs were the seriously wounded, the elderly and the chronically ill, whose bodies could not wait in the midst of limited treatment and a completely collapsed medical sector in Gaza.
The residents of the northern Gaza Strip, especially the sick and wounded, are suffering as a result of the tight siege, and if the injury or illness worsens, the medical teams do not have the ability to transport them to the southern area, as they need unavailable ambulances, and they need a safe road, while they cannot guarantee that they will not be subjected to Israeli bombardment.
