Forty-eight martyrs since dawn by Israeli shelling


Medical sources said that 48 Palestinians were killed as a result of the Israeli occupation army’s shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday.

While 27 martyrs were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip since dawn.

In the south, three Palestinians were killed and more than 20 wounded in Israeli shelling targeting a house in the Jouret Al-Lot area, south of Khan Yunis.

Two were killed when an Israeli march bombed the Shakosh area, northwest of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Nine Palestinians were also killed when Israeli artillery targeted a house belonging to the Abu Yousef family, west of Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip.

In the northern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Jabalia refugee camp at dawn on Saturday.

This comes as the Israeli army announced that the 98th Division had completed its mission in Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah in the southern and central Gaza Strip.
