A new Yemeni warning regarding Sounion
Yemen issued a new warning on Saturday regarding the Greek oil tanker “Sounion”, which is on fire in the Red Sea, following the foiling of its tow plans.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Mohammed Al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, said that the tow of the ship “Sounion” would be reconsidered, holding America and Britain fully responsible for it.
Al-Houthi’s tweet came after the failure of the Greek ship towing.
European parties had reached an agreement with Sana’a to towing the ship, which was supposed to start last week.
Western countries, along with the US, are marketing excuses to justify not towing the ship, which has been on fire for three weeks at sea and carries around 150,000 tons of fuel.
The new campaign comes after American movement among Western countries as part of its attempts to use it as a pressure card on Yemen to stop its operations against the ongoing Israeli occupation, which has been ongoing since last November and which America and the European Union failed to contain militarily.
