Al-Mashat advises Saudi Arabia and confirms: External intervention impeded the attainment of the objectives of the September 26 revolution
Mehdi Al-Mashat, head of the “Supreme Political Council” in Sana’a, offered “advice” to the Saudi regime to “accelerate steps to end the aggression, the state of non-peace and non-war, lift the blockade, compensate for the damage, and address humanitarian issues,” noting that external intervention hindered the achievement of the goals of the September 26 revolution and placed Yemeni decision-making under foreign control, in reference to Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Al-Mashat said in a televised speech on the eve of the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 revolution, “the September 21 revolution came to achieve the goals of the September 26 revolution,” and that September 21 “succeeded in cutting off external tutelage and began serious and advanced steps towards achieving the goals of September 26 in freedom and independence.”
He pointed out that the forces that dominated the scene of confronting Yemen on September 26 are the same ones that are confronting our people to prevent them from achieving their aspirations, in reference to the factions loyal to the Saudi-Emirati coalition.
Al-Mashat confirmed that “the heroes of the Yemeni republic are those standing on the nation’s gaps, not those who disguised themselves for the goals of 26 September and went into the arms of the Saudi monarchy.”
