Thousands of bodies under the rubble in Gaza

In addition to killing tens of thousands of Palestinians, the occupation has destroyed everything in the Gaza Strip within a year, including the economy, education, health and others, at a time when Gaza has already been suffering from a suffocating blockade for more than 17 years, returning the Palestinians to square one and forcing them to go through a long journey of reconstruction, if the opportunity arises.

The United Nations Satellite Center (UNOSAT) said that the Israeli occupation army destroyed or caused damage to two-thirds of the buildings in the Gaza Strip, as the damaged buildings in the Gaza Strip represent “66% and their number is 163,778 buildings.”

The center estimated that the damage now includes 52,564 buildings destroyed, 18,913 buildings severely damaged, 35,591 buildings with structural damage, and 56,710 moderately damaged buildings.

The United Nations also estimates that more than 10,000 bodies are under the rubble of destroyed buildings, with Israeli strikes leaving more than 42 million tons of debris across the Strip as of mid-August.

Before the start of the Israeli genocide, the unemployment rate was about 40%, while the unemployment rate in June in Gaza was about 80%.

Today, more than two million Gazans are waiting for the end of the war of extermination to start from almost zero, with poverty reaching 100 percent as all Gazans are poor, according to World Bank data.
