International relief organizations warn of a worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza

Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Eighteen international relief organizations, including civil society organizations from Britain, France, America, and Switzerland, have warned that the Israeli entity forcing Palestinians to forcibly displace from northern Gaza will lead to a worsening of the catastrophic humanitarian situation and hinder humanitarian aid operations.

In a joint statement, the organizations, including Oxfam, Save the Children, and ActionAid, confirmed that the increasing escalation in northern Gaza is now poses a serious threat to the lives of citizens.

The statement reported that “Israel” has begun to move to force Palestinians to displace, which will exacerbate the horrific humanitarian situation in the region.

It also noted that Gaza has become devoid of safe areas, necessitating the provision of protection for humanitarian actors during aid distribution.

The organizations confirmed that their humanitarian operations face significant constraints, impeding the ability to aid effectively.

The statement added that approximately 400,000 citizens are trapped in northern Gaza, pointing out that “Israel” is attempting to send them through dangerous roads to already crowded areas, threatening their lives and increasing their suffering.

These warnings come at a time when humanitarian conditions in the sector are escalating amid ongoing bombardment and siege, in full view of the international community and the world.
