US intelligence confirms the failure of two plans, including the “stealth” one, to assassinate Al-Houthi

The US admitted on Sunday the failure of its military plan in Yemen, following the largest attack on Yemen using strategic bombers.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The American Arabic-speaking channel, Alhurra, quoted the fourth director of the National Intelligence Agency, Robert Moret, confirming that the US forces’ use of stealth aircraft known as “B-2” aimed to reach the locations of the “Houthi” leadership, referring to the leaders of the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen.

Moret pointed out that these bombers have the capability to reach these fortified locations.

He admitted the failure of a previous American plan using drones, referring to the MQ-9 that suffered setbacks in Yemen with the downing of around 11 drones.

This is the first time America has revealed the deployment of the “B-2” to Yemen since carrying out approximately 15 strikes targeting Sana’a and Sa’ada, the stronghold of the Ansar Allah leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi.

No casualties from these raids have been officially announced, while Al-Houthi emerged hours after the raids to mourn the leader of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Yahya Al-Sinwar.

The assassinations were one of Washington’s last cards in its war on Yemen, which has been ongoing since last January and aims to contain Yemeni operations against the Israeli occupation.

The failure of this plan adds burdens to Washington in its mission to contain Yemen.
